The Phytotherapy Center in Biertan

The Romanian Phytotheray Society (R.Ph.S.) came into being in 1993 on the occasion of the International Seminar of Phytotherapy which took place in Biertan commune. There is also the the center of the society at 1, Aurel Vlaicu Str.

 

The laboratory of phisic - chemical analysis of the medicinal hub products was realized in 1998 with the help of a PHARE FIDEL programme (The fund for the support of the initiatives of local economic development), with the amount of 84.384 ECU from UE.
Thus it was possible the aquisition of modern equipment in accordance to the actual standards: spectometer of atomic absorbtion, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, cromatograph - gase, microscope, thermobalance, vascozimeter, titrator, Karl-Fischer, pH-meter, Abbe rephractometer, TLC equipment, analytical balance.
